Nix began his musical career as the vocalist for the progressive metal band Psyoptic (2000-2010). While his origins lie in classical music and then heavy metal, Nix has always embraced electronic music and festival culture; his current musical interests continue to drift in that direction. Nix brings fun and exuberance, with an eccentric mystique, to the stage, and he enjoys working as a “mercenary MC” for a number of different producers. As a result of this diverse range of collaborators—including Spoils of Grace, Lex Plexus, YZ1, Raven Saphir, DunNgeon Keeper, spr0ut, and Siadic—Nix’s style is as eclectic as the producers that seek him out. Nix prides himself on his mimicry, his chameleonic ability to adapt to whatever genre a producer brings to the table. But make no mistake: his distinct voice will intrigue, inspire, and—sometimes—unsettle you.
